Day Job During the Week, Screenwriter on the Weekend
Writing a screenplay can be extremely difficult without the proper training and knowledge. Screenplays have a specific format that differs greatly from other mediums, and can take a long time to master.
Finding the time to craft this skill can be difficult with all the things going on during the workweek. However, one weekend in Screenwriter School with Michael Lucker may give you all the tools necessary to write that major motion screenplay you’ve been dreaming of for years.
This weekend Michael Lucker will be guiding aspiring writers through the process of taking a small idea and developing it into a completed concept ready to pitch.
Lucker has written more than 20 screenplays for companies such as Disney, Paramount, Fox, and Universal, and wants to share his expertise to aspiring writers interested in developing their own story ideas for the big screen.
Come prepared to hash out your ideas because the class will be seven hours long on both Saturday and Sunday.
In ‘Screenwriting 101,' Lucker uses different methods to help make people feel comfortable and confident when it comes time to face the dreaded blank page.
