The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival will screen The Exception as its second edition of AJFF Selects on June 22 at UA Tara Cinemas 4.
The AJFF Selects are monthly screenings feature foreign and independent films, along with speakers and guest filmmakers. Says AJFF Executive Director Kenny Blank, “After the sold-out success of The Wedding Plan, our debut AJFF Selects screening, we’re privileged to continue bringing more of the world-class cinema that audiences have come to expect from us.”
The Exception stars Jai Courtney, Christopher Plummer, and Lily James, and is directed by Tony-nominated theater director David Leveaux. The film was adapted from the best-selling novel The Kaiser's Last Kiss, written by Alan Judd, which tells the story of a German soldier making the choice between following his country or his heart during WWII..
Tickets are $13 and are available at ajff.org/exceptiontix.
