Samy’s Camera, CinemaWorks, Canon Professional, and the City of Hope offer short film competition

A short film competition is accepting submissions about hopeful stories to spark inspiration and become a beacon of hope. The film challenge is to create a two-to-five minute film reflecting hope. Some topics offered by the organizers---Samy’s Camera, CinemaWorks, Canon Professional, and the City of Hope---include overcoming great obstacles, joy through the eyes of children, achieving your goals, winning, and helping others. Winners will receive different tiers of high-quality Canon cameras. The top five entries from around the world with the most votes, as well as the top five with the most jury selections, will advance to the finals. Films will be premiered at PhotoConLA June 8-10.
